Is there a cost to use the Intouch Bid's app?

It's free, so download the app and create an account; However when you select a service provider that provides his service to you he must be paid for his service.

How do I request a bid for my desired service with the app?

Follow the category prompts on the app, once you get to the text message area enter your message, if you want to notify phone contacts, select them by clicking add phone entries, once selected, click back to return to the input screen then press sent text and your request will go to the Service Providers in that category as well as your selected contact.

EXAMPLE OF A REQUEST FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE:

Requestor: "I’ve run out of gas at Stage Rd and I40, I’m in a black pick up, how long will it take you to get to me with gas and what will it cost?"

How long does the Service Provider have to respond to my request?

You control the validity through the settings button; choose your desired time frame.

Do I need to get my GPS/ address location with every request?

No, only input the location if your Service provider and selected contacts need to know your current location. (Example: for Roadside Assistance)

How do I input my GPS/ address into the message?

The GPS/ Address must be manually typed into the message box.

My GPS/ address is not showing correctly; what should I do?

The GPS/ Address program is affected by things out of our control such as weather etc. Move your phone around in your location and press get location again for more accurate information.

How will I know if the Service Providers have responded to my request for service?

Close the app and check the text area on your phone; the response will return there.

How will I continue to communicate with the Service Providers until final negotiations?

Continue responding with the Service Providers through your phone’s normal text message area.

How do I select a Service Provider to fulfill my service request?

Once you have chosen the Service Provider that fits your needs; remember the servicer’s Company, Name and number & log back in the app, select “respond to a recent request” and select the provider you chose and click accept. This will send an “accept” to the desired provider as well as a “thank you” message to the providers not selected.
